New Interior

During 2010, Flight Interiors worked closely with Air New Zealand as one of their design partners on the airline's new Boeing 777-300 interiors.

Our specific involvement was upholstery design and integration onto the new seat frames developed for this project - Skycouch ™, Spaceseat ™ and the more conventional seating in Economy and Business Premier.

This project saw us working closely alongside Air NZ seat vendors Contour and Recaro and Franklin Foam Products. Flight Interiors is now supplying seat covers to Recaro for Economy and Skycouch ™ seats and to Contour for the Spaceseat ™ and Business Premier.

Seat cover materials have been sourced where possible from New Zealand suppliers - fabrics from Inter-Weave Ltd and leathers from The Tasman Tanning Company.

The first aircraft incorporating these new products entered service late in 2010. the design partners working with Air New Zealand on their new Boeing 777-300 interiors.
